Wild Rose Challenge
This card was designed to meet a challenge on the following blog
http://elitechallenges.wordpress.com This blog was designed by some of the talented ladies in my group at Stampin’Up! Alisa sets challenges each month and members from the team can submit their cards. This was my card from the Wild Rose Challenge. This is the most beautiful stamp set!
This card also uses the French Script background and the ‘Thanks” comes from Heartfelt thanks. The card is made using ruby red and kraft CS and the flowers are stamped on confetti cream. The inks used include ruby red (yes, the flowers are done with only one colour!) and garden green. The accessories used were the slit punch (my current fave!), hodgepodge and red gingham ribbon.
I am known for the ‘quickie’ cards. I often spend no more than 20 minutes on a card, from start to envelope and address! This one did take about an hour……..BUT I am really happy with it!
You need to check out the outstanding work at Elite Stampers (hit the blogroll!!!!). Don’t forget to encourage the girls…….it’s great to know that you like something when you see it:-)
Bone Jour!
This is such a cute card…….it makes me smile! This, I made for my cousin, who recently lost her dog to liver cancer. Her dogs are her life……….she has just bought a new puppy and my husband is getting to meet him for the first time on Saturday. I think he is giving him his shots!! Poor baby!! I’m going to send this in with him ………funny enough, I don’t even know his name….but I’m excited about their new addition to the family!
This card has been done using Stampin’Up! products…….Ruff day stamp set (now retired!) and French Script as the background. I’ve coloured the stamp using their markers to match the cardstock (really rust and close to cocoa, kraft). I also stamped the ‘Bone Jour!’ using the markers onto the twill tape. I used some silver brads and the slit punch to put it all together…..
Even though the ruff day set is retired we have lots of great sets that fit this ‘cute’ category! If you wish to enquire about the products or Stampin’ Up , just leave a comment with your details and I’d be happy to get back to you! Have creating………
I’ve been tagged!!!!
I’ve been tagged!! the lovely Tina has tagged me….7 things about me…….

7. This time next week I will be at the Stampin’Up conference in Darling Harbour, Sydney. I’m the ‘bus’ driver for the rest of the Elite Stampers that are hangin’ out at Narellan at Tracey’s house……..we apologise in advance for the noise we will no doubt make next weekend!!! Party on!!!! It will be great to ’see’ these great gals in the flesh!!! (hopefully they will wear clothes though!!!)
Now 7 blogs…..that’s a problem. I’ve got an idea…..I’m going to start my own tag……
I’ll get back to you all when I ponder this one…….well all 3 of you anyway!!! hehehehe
Great deal for the month of May!
Signing up to be a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator will never be a better deal………..It is just $299 in May (saving of $25!). That gets you a heap of products plus business supplies to get you started. It is only a little over half the retail value of the goods. You can sign up just to get the discount on your orders or you can turn it into a thriving business and earn an all expenses paid trip for you and your partner overseas. Every year SU! takes the best demos and their partners on a trip to help celebrate their success……..this year the group from Australia are going to Port Douglas. The group from the US went on a cruise on the Panama Canal………next year we’ll get the chance to go overseas!!!!
If this is interesting you……….or you’d like to get your stuff at a discounted price……….or you’d like to earn enough to pay for your obsession..or a trip..or a car………leave a comment with your details and I’ll happily answer your questions and guide you through the process!
Stampin Up! is my ‘fourth’ job, but far the most enjoyable!!! Talk to me today!!!
Back to work!!! Pooooweeeee
It’s the end of the holidays…….spent the day marking exams while my girls played with making an accordion album using 6 in squares of paper…….you should check it out at
They have a new episode every Friday…..fantastic ideas!!!
Anyway, off to finish dinner and set an exam or two!! Yuck!
Have a great week guys! Happy creating….
Teddy Friends
This is a 6 inch page created using Stampin’ Up materials. It’s a very cute photo of my now 13 year old son and his best friend! It has a Sahara Sand background with Paw prints wheeled over the top. These are great stamps……keep rolling and rollin………. The teddy is from Favorite Teddy set and stamped using basic black ink and coloured with Pastels. The title is stamped with Stazon and uses the Whimsical alphabet…………onto Vellum and held onto the page with brads. This is always a good option as vellum often shows glue and adhesive. It is advisable to ‘hide’ how you attach vellum if using these adhesives. This page was finished off by mounting the photo on Kraft CS and inking the edged and sponging with basic brown ink. The photo and mat were stitched to the layout with 3 cross stitches top and bottom.
This was a quickie layout……..it was completed by 8 women using one set of equipment in about 45 minutes…..Easy peasy!
Have a go at a layout today……..go for 6 inch and 1 photo if you are new to stamping or scrapbooking!
Here I am…..in blogworld
Everyone else is into this so thought I’d give it a go…….feels really weird talking about myself and MY boring life………..it will probably be full of family mayhem and then about my creations…….or CASES……whatever the case will be……..anyway , Hi Blogworld!!!
Hmmmm perhaps I should add a little about me…….now where do I do that??????
