Do you love these natty card types?? One is the criss-cross card, one the folder type and one the library card.

If you’d like to learn how to make these I will be running a class to show you, here at my home. The class will cost $15 (all cardstock and accessories provided). It is handy to bring along your own preferred adhesive. I will be running this class on Sunday March 16th and will only take 7 people and it will have to be first in first served. Ilive in the Camden area of Sydney and if you are interested in joining this class you can register via e-mail at sharon@lvh.com.au.

I will then confirm your place and send you my address and details.

The card designs for these cards are not my own. I have cased the cards using my own embellishmentsand the cards that you make will not look the same as these . (These are just examples to illustrate the style of cards).

Interrupted transmission……

Hi guys!! I’m having a great time at Rosehill. I am covered from head to toe in glitter (that is no joke! Just ask everyone who comments when they make a card with me…LOL!!). We have met hundreds – maybe thousands of ladies and a few gentlemen who are interested in making cards either in classes or at home with their own stamps and tools. We have sold hundreds of idea books & catalogues and have enjoyed chatting with everyone of you. I can’t wait to add you all to my mailing list and send out a message with all the great things that I want to do over the next few exciting months.

I have a minor problem though……my PC has died (I’m using my sisters’ to post this……) ! SO if you have tried to e-mail and haven’t heard back from me this is why……..if you need me – you can get me in the evenings at home……(you all have my number )………you can leave a message here as a comment but sending an e-mail is futile at the moment. I will keep you posted on how the doc(my hubby for those of you that are wondering…..) is going with the PCectomomy……..:-)

Creative Living Expo……

As you have probably read (if you read my blog regularly……….) the Creative Living expo starts on Friday and runs til Sunday afternoon at Rosehill Racecourse here in Sydney. This expo is displaying and presenting stalls from numerous different crafts. SU! will be represented by a few demonstrators and we have some great things to show you and discuss. The photograph above is of a door prize (there will be two given away each day ……. each different and unique) that will be drawn from the registered interest slips that we will help you fill out on the day. Come visit our stand and when you register your interest in a product and/or service you can be in the draw to win some free goodies.

We will be running a great workshop that will allow you to make THE cutest little Maze book  – using amazing (hehehehe) Enchante double sided paper and the Carte Postale stamp set. I will post a sample (my own version – the one we make on the day will be HEAPS better……) a little later. This will be an amazing class that will only cost a small amount………you have to visit us at the stand to sign up for the limited number of places for each day of the expo…..I CAN’T WAIT!!!!!!!

This is one of 30 cards I made for my neighbour last night. She has just been organising the most amazing entertainment extravaganza. It was a charity event to raise money for African Aids. (Click on the link in the blogroll to find out more). I bought 5 tickets, but was unable to attend and I thought that the least I could do was help her thank those who perfomed or donated on the night.

30 cards in one night……means……they had to be quick. Stampin’ around wheels are the equivalent of fast……rough texture was used to make the background, with a certainly celery ink cartridge and CS. The main image is on vintage vioelt and stem silhouettes stamped in the same ink as well as whisper white. That grogeous ribbon is the wide celery grosgrain. It really is the best ribbon to work with. Whisper white cardstock and some paper piercing were used to finish it off (although that is hard to see in the photo). Very effective…..lets hope the rain we get doesn’t ruin the cards in the post LOL!!!
