peeking…………”Tangerine Tango”
Yep
……………..this is it……………………one of the new colors to make our incolour range in
2009!! It is known as Tangerine Tango and it is just devine………not hard for an orange girl like me…………….those who know me , know that I like orange. I wear orange shirts…..have a favourite pair of orange sandals………….not bad when you usually just buy boring black, brown and navy shoes LOL!!! I have teamed it up here with whisper white – such a crisp combination , along with that edible fave, chocolate chip!! Ckeck out Kristina Werners blog for a colour combination so close to this it isn’t funny (although we did it at the same time……..LOL).
This has to be one of my favourite stamp sets……..Priceless and the so swirly wheel. Those of you who met me at craft shows would have seen me wheeling my way to bliss with this combination ………………. now that I’m getting over the loss of Ms Pomegranate, I think I will love the new Mrs Tangerine……..such a fun colour.
This card will also feature in some workshops booked in April. If you’d like to make his one with friends, then drop me a line and we can make this together in one of the new incolours……..pacific point would look good in this too…………..such an easy and effective card, where you could add any sentiment you’d like!!!
Off to stamp with my new young friends……..will catch you again……maybe with priceless and another new colour…..never know your luck in this game!!

12in page to be…….
This is the 12inch page that I am doing with 15 guests at a workshop on Saturday night. It started as a party for 11 year old girls and has now turned into a party/class/workshop. I reckon it will be haps of fun! I’m really looking forward to it. This page has been stamped, no patterned paper in sight! It is using the soft subtles and has an artichoke mat for photos to go on….I have the perfect shot that I plan to put on before the night.
The stamp set for this one is one of the retired stamp sets that was a level two hostess set that will be removed from the stock shelves at Stampin’ Up!© on the 1st of April…….reminds me! Anyone who is after anything on the retired list only really has this weekend to put your order in……
I’m off to the Camden show with my munchkins tonight but will be around Saturday and Sunday – although stampin’ with my new friends on Saturday evening – drop me an e-mail if you are after any stuff…………will pop back with a proper photo of this a bit later!

Birthday blessed…..
We have had many birthdays around here of late. My eldest two children share the same birthday, all be it 4 years apart. On their birthday my daughters were invited to a birthday party up the road for twin girls. I made two quick cards that I just CASED so that they could be completed quickly and efficiently. Both take advantage of patterned paper….
This one utilised some patterned paper and then I used the Eastern blooms set (available in the current mini until the 31st March) with markers so I could custom color the flowers to match the colours found in the patterned paper.
I used some ribbon I ordered from a ribbon club and the ‘happy birthday’ comes from occasional greetings. The brads are some of Stampin’ up!© rhinestone brads to match the colours…………the bottom of the patterned paper was cut using the scallop punch – also in the current mini.

The card for twin number two LOL was made by using various SU! punches and some scrap patterned paper, the fabulous white gel pen from Stampin’ up!© and some great buttons that I have here in my button stash. I cut a little strip off the front of the card and stuck a piece of certainly celery patterned paper cut with the scallop punch down the side for an accent.
You will notice that both cards actually got my usual inside the card treatment……always nice to have the inside of a card as attractive as the outside.
There is but a few days to put in your orders for retiring products and people are already missing out on sets and accessories they wanted. So…….pop on over to here and check the list one last time before everything on this list goes forever!!!! Drop me a line at sharon@lvh.com.au and I will place the order pronto!

Shave for a cure ….update!!!
Well, it’s done…..have no hair left!! BUT I have raised nearly $1000 as a result. Most of the effort goes to the kids at my school who got a kick out of watching their teacher get her head shaved and paid for the privilege………but I did raise $400 myself with friends and work mates. A special thank you to some stamping friends who helped out….Wendy , Kim and Alisa…..they are true champions….. So….{drum roll please!!}. Here are the photos!!
before
and then after,
While I didn’t have the longest of hair, I am sure appreciating what I had, two days after. It sure is taking a lot to get used to……but worth the effort I reckon!!!
Anyway, thought I’d give some of you a laugh…….if you’d like to book a workshop with a bald demonstrator, then I’m your gal!!!!!!
Shaving for a cure!!!
hello gang!! Just thought I would post on here about my exciting week. This Friday I am shaving my head of my thick, dark curls…….going totally bald. I’ve been on camp and while away, the kids at my school have raised over $600 for me to shave my head with all proceeds going towards cancer research……….some of my stamping friends are donating to this fab cause………if anyone here would like to donate, I’d be happy to send you my bank details and in return, I will send you a thank you card (handmade of course) and a photo showing the before and after…….will be a huge laugh………my family are prolly more scared than me……my youngest wants to know what I’ll do if it doesn’t grow back………..LOL!!! My hair grows soooooo fast – I will enjoy saving some $$ on haircuts and dye…..that will be my contribution….what i will save on hair products and services……it would be great to ge to $1000 – you never know……………………………
