Friday night live……..

……..with Liz and the girls. Yep – this Friday is one of my regular groups getting together again. We are making these cards using Razzle Dazzle from the mini catalogue – making our last hurrah , sure not to miss anything from this catalogue before it goes.

The theme is different looks from the same cardstock pieces….card base, 8cm square, 8.5cm square and a 6cm wide strip.

We are using just one stamp set – Razzle Dazzle and the weathered background in the card shown here. We are trying out some different background effects.

We are also using the colours – kraft, whisper white and pink pirouette (and choc on this card)

The technique used on the main embelly is emboss resist – resist – cool huh!

This card is also using versamark ink (for the background on the kraft ) and a little dazzling diamonds glitter applied to the main flower using a two way glue pen.

Linda showed me a great link for how to use the large grommets (also due to disappear at the end of this mini) – which I am grateful about cause otherwise they’d still be sitting in the container looking pretty LOL!!

The ribbon used here is the pink pirouette striped grosgrain – still with us for s few months yet!!

I’m really sorry about my photos lately – have had to take them at night and that leaves a yukky yellow hue……will take them again I think.

Here in this one the main image is embossed in whisper white embossing powder and the versamark added to the kraft after that.

The beautiful, but purposely messy knot is of course the wide pirouette ribbon also disappearing ……sob, sob,

If you would like to get hold of some of these before this catalogue ends – e-mail me this week…….

Might put these up for sale next week……anyone interested??
