Finally….some launch shots….Part 1

Ok….so I’ve been a little busy since last weekend….first week back at school and all the follow up stuff from our launch…..

Shot 1 – Here are all the little goody bags we put together…holding make and take project kits, information on the three new in colours, including a sample of ribbon and cardstock, some great colour combos using these colours to try out, info on my Big Shot club…more on that soon… as well as our share offers….we just had a couple of shares and they were so, so successful…..everyone took advantage of the opportunity to try out new colours or patterned paper (with the added bonus of getting cardstock to match!!).

Shot 2 – As you may remember, Lana and I actually did this launch together…we used her fabulous stamping cottage – so homey, light and airy and all so private – perfect girls stamping retreat…and about 4 metres from her back door….couldn’t be better!! This shot shows the view of the left back corner, with the big shot machines set up on the table waiting to go, the card sample wall (these are just our everyday samples)

You can see some of the display spots we had set up across the back of the room…the front of the room housed the kitchen where Nicole baked fresh scones for each group – one group had morning tea together and the other group had afternoon tea…..yummy, yummy, yummy…..this was added to by the lovely Ina who supplied some yummy tea buns as well….she’s so sweet!

Shot 3 – This shows the wall of samples….half were mine, half Lana’s….such great inspiration to have great cards on the wall and Lana’s stamp club enjoy looking through her new additions every month when they meet to stamp in the cottage together….she always has new stuff up there for them!!

Check out the ribbon holder on the wall too….that one is from clip it up….a fab company for organisation.

Can you see the big shots!! We all used these three times to put together our make and takes…..everyone fell in love with them and Maree cleverly organised herself to order her and she picked it up at the launch, so she was enthused to go and give it a try and home!! Maree is the first member of my big shot club……others have already joined her…….

The last shot shows you some of the table and other display areas……we had lots of room to work and enjoy each others company…….so fun!!

You will need to keep eyes and ears open for our retirement sell out later in the year we plan to hold in the stamping cottage and of course our new idea book and catalogue launch in spring……..

This is our first make and take – a cute little pillow box made with the big shot of course, with kraft cs and the belly band with baja patterned paper  and the main decoration stamped with kiwi kiss ink and baja blue ink using the vintage vogue set…..

This was the card….made using rich razzleberry cardstock, put through the big shot to emboss the dots on the front and a white sheet was run through with the top note die….then cut in half.

The girls got to play with the new punches…by punching the bird a number of times to construct the image shown. The tiny tags set and the coordinating jewellery tag punch (don’t you just love how stampin’ Up! do that!!) was used to make a tag of their choice…….a very popular card!!

Now…who wants to see close up’s of the other display cards??……………..
