Some new stuff

With just 4 days til the Occasions Catalogue and the Salebration bonus starting, I guess it’s time to show you some creations made with brand new products……

Thanks Tag

This is a little gift tag made with new products……the tag was punched with using the scallop tag topper punch  (133323 $39.95)- now lately I have noticed the fast and furious pace that Stampin’ Up! have produced their amazing product videos….so I thought I’d share them with you by providing a link…..if you click on the product name there may well be a link to one of these. I’d recommend watching these before purchasing….why?…..they provide great tips and techniques with the product but they also sprout the versatility of the product and this can help you decide if the product is right for you. The tag is 2 inches wide (5.1 cm) and needs to be cut just right to fit into the punch and create a perfect top. The ribbons thread through the ‘hanger hole’ that is cut by the punch – the ribbons a mix of the old and new. I have containers that sit right on my desk with scrap ribbon that I mostly use for just this purpose….the tops of tags etc, a great way to use up scraps. The DSP  is also from the DSP  Fresh prints stack (132996 $11.95)stack that is in the new catalogue. This is a versatile pack, using the lovely colour combo of coastal cabana, crumb cake, real red and whisper white. I love paper stacks – they are less expensive and are perfectly designed for card making, so if that’s you paper craft kick – look for those. The stamp set is the very cool Yippee skippee from the main catalogue and that amazing rose is the very first one I made using my Spiral Flower original die (129379 $29.95). This is a bargain and makes the most amazing flowers (I whacked a rhinestone in the centre for pizzazz…..not an easy task, but worth the effort. These roses are standardly too high to whack on a card you can mail but I have seen some video tutes of some cool ones made that you could get away with on a card…..

6 weeks later…..

helloI did promise I’d be back……fat lot my promises mean LOL…..I do have some cards that I have been making, ready for you to look at but will stagger them over the next few weeks. I still love this set and am using it often as a go to set for a nice card to say ‘hi’ to a friend……I have lots of friends who need some lovin’ lately and so I have a few of these in the post to hopefully put a smile on their dial. I set you a challenge! Go and make a card tonight instead of watching some ridiculous TV show and send it in the mail to cheer up a friend…….you will impact someone’s life…I promise you…(ooops there goes another promise). Come back and let me know if you rise to the challenge……you never know… may get something in return {wink, wink}

The new catalogue goes live on the 1st…….so be sure to check it out online… can order new product straight from the online store if you’d like by clicking here. If you’d like a catalogue sent to your door for just $10 – drop me an e-mail

Hope the weather isn’t getting you down and hip hooray to those of us with holidays…..

Ok…..I am sort of here……ATM

Hi guys,

I know it feels like I have been MIA, and I guess to the net world I have been. Plenty going on in my world, including crafting……so I have lots I have to share. I won’t bore you with the comings and goings of the Davis clan but trust me when i say, lots of comings and goings…..LOL……ahhhh some crafting good ness……..but before that, the new catalogue is out…I promise……so I better provide you with a link…… it is….oh and here is the holiday catalogue…….and yes like me you’ll want everything!!

I will try and show you a card a day during the week over the holidays …… and first a simple but lovely baby card. The lovely Marie from my bonnyrigg babes has had a beautiful grand daughter delivered in the last month and so I had to celebrate with her….a cute little outfit and a card to match.

This one uses a lovely set that was in a mini catalogue last year and has made it into the main catalogue this time around. This is a cute size, just big enough for a little parcel. The stamped images were embossed using white embossing powder onto regal rose cardstock with some retired regal rose grosgrain ribbon (I miss that ribbon)……..topped off with a row of the self adhesive diamante…….noice huh!!

If you’d like me to send you out some catalogues in real life, drop me a line, we’ll organise payment and they will be in the mailbox quick as a whip….they are only $5.95 plus postage and I’ll throw in the holiday catalogue with it……. see you with Wednesday’s card a bit later….

A new stampin’ era begins….

Well….it has begun….the new mini catalogue is here and no doubt you have blog surfed and read a lot about it. It is very exciting….with cling mount rubber stamps, the Sizzix Big Shot and the exclusive dies as well as a new punch style.

It is probably worthwhile downloading your own copy……and you can do that from my demo website by clicking on the link below….

Once you’ve had a good look you may want to have a go at using some of these new things…..two ways….

1. Book into our FREE catalogue launch….. see here

2. Book a workshop for you and some friends…where I will bring the products to you!!

Either way, you’ll need to e-mail me at

Enjoy your easter break!! I’ll see you all again in a week or so…..hopefully you will get to see some scheduled posts I have happening while I’m off with the chillens…..  🙂

Join us for a mini catalogue launch….THIS SATURDAY!!!

One of my downlines and myself are planning a mini catalogue launch where you can drop by for a cuppa and grab a copy of the new mini catalogue, see heaps of great samples and make two small projects. It will also be a great opportunity to place an order for the new stuff or from the current idea book and catalogue. or even organise a workshop to play with new products in your home with a group of papercrafting buddies. All orders placed on the day will be discounted by 10%. The cost of the event is just $5, payable on the day and this will also entitle you to receive a ticket in the lucky door prize draw, bring a friend and we will give you an extra chance to win.

We are holding this at the rear entrance to Liverpool Vet Hospital. It helps to know the owner PMSL!!!! This is a great central location with loads of off street parking. The map to show the location can be found here or here.

Date – Saturday the 15th of August

Time – drop by any time between 2pm and 5pm

Address – 329 Hume Highway, Liverpool

Carparking – in the back of the Collingwood Hotel. If you are heading along the highway towards the city you can turn into the drive through bottle shop just before the lights, otherwise turn at the lights of Hoxton Park Rd and the Highway and a quick left will see you in Gillespie St. The carpark entry is at the end of this short  road.

Cost – $5, payable on entry and includes a catalogue, two make and takes and afternoon tea and great company of course!!

RSVP – preferrable, but not essential…..

If you would like a mini catalogue mailed to you then drop me an e-mail and I will pop one in the post.
